If you are a folk music presenter or DJ in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, or New York (New York City area, Long Island, and Hudson River Valley area), email information to: email@example.com . Please send information at least 2-3 weeks in advance and be patient. This site is maintained by volunteers and it sometimes takes a brief period of time before we get around to posting your event.
If you are interested in performing at The Sounding Board, please contact Artistic Director Janet Steucek by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. or send your media kit to: The Sounding Board, 668 Main St., Cromwell, CT 06416. You can also send your EPK to Janet at the same email. Please remember The Sounding Board is only open on Saturday nights, and we only schedule between 25 and 30 concerts per year, making the talent selection process very selective.
The Sounding Board is staffed entirely by volunteers. Volunteers assist with setup and cleanup for shows, prepare homebaked goodies for the refreshment table, and do a number of other important tasks that keep The Sounding Board vital.
